MK Dons Captain Favour Omenazu Earns First Super Falcons Call-Up

MK Dons captain Favour Omenazu has received her first invitation to the Super Falcons after choosing to represent Nigeria at senior international level. The 24-year-old midfielder has joined Nigeria’s camp for the two-legged 2028 Los Angeles Olympic qualifying tie against Comoros. The matches are scheduled for October 9 and 13 at the Remo Stars Stadium in Ikenne-Remo. Omenazu, who is also eligible for England, had previously said representing Nigeria would make her proud because of her family roots. Her versatility in midfield and at right-back could offer the Super Falcons another option as the team manages player withdrawals ahead of the qualifiers.
