Mikel Obi Slams Manchester United as “Awful to Watch” Amid Poor Run
Former Super Eagles captain John Obi Mikel has criticised Manchester United’s recent performances, describing the team as “dreadful” and “awful to watch.” United are reportedly without a win in eight games and sit close to the Premier League relegation zone. The poor run has increased pressure on manager Michael Carrick, whose side has won only two of its opening 12 matches in all competitions. Speaking on his podcast, Mikel said supporters are right to be frustrated by the team’s lack of cohesion. He suggested the club may need an experienced manager such as Aston Villa’s Unai Emery to restore its standards ahead of the Chelsea match at Stamford Bridge.
