NECO Builds Palace for Gidan Mangoro Traditional Ruler in Niger State
The National Examinations Council has built and commissioned a palace for the Mai-Anguwan of Gidan Mangoro, the host community of its headquarters in Minna, Niger State. NECO said the project is part of its corporate social responsibility efforts and reflects its commitment to supporting peaceful, stable and well-developed host communities beyond its examination and certification mandate. The council said it has also provided boreholes and transformers in nearby communities, supported skills-development programmes, sponsored education activities and refurbished a patrol vehicle for the Minna police area command. The NECO registrar was honoured with the traditional title of Maji Dadin Gidan Mangoro during the commissioning.
