Former Nigerian Squash No.1 Moses Olubo Set to Arrive in Lagos After Three-Continent Ride
Former Nigerian squash number one Moses Olubo is expected in Lagos on Wednesday after completing a transcontinental journey on a Can-Am Spyder motorcycle. His route took him from the United States through Canada, Iceland, Scandinavia and Western Europe, before he crossed the Sahara and travelled through the Fouta Jallon Highlands toward Nigeria. A welcome reception is planned for 2pm on Wednesday, August 26, at the National Stadium in Surulere. His arrival has been delayed by border challenges in Ghana involving a motorcycle not registered under the ECOWAS system. Supporters and members of the sporting community are expected to celebrate the endurance feat, which combined adventure, exploration and sport across three continents.
