NPFL Week 9 Preview: Shooting Stars Face Ranchers Bees as Winless Away Runs Continue
Shooting Stars host Ranchers Bees at the Lekan Salami Stadium in Ibadan on Friday night as both sides seek a turnaround in their NPFL campaigns. Ranchers Bees are yet to earn a point away from home, while Shooting Stars enter the fixture without a win in their last five matches. Kwara United, Bendel Insurance, Ranchers Bees and Shooting Stars have all struggled on the road this season. Kwara United will aim to recover from last weekend’s defeat to Ikorodu City when they host Abia Warriors in Ilorin on Saturday. Abia Warriors have gone five matches unbeaten against Kwara United. Bendel Insurance will not play this weekend after their scheduled match against Enugu Rangers was postponed because of Rangers’ CAF Champions League commitments. The break gives Insurance time to regroup after their loss to Sporting Lagos.
