Fake PFIPC DG Arrested: How Adeniyi Adeyemi Was Nabbed in Osun
The Osun Police Command has explained the arrest of Adeniyi Adeyemi, who posed as the Director-General of the Presidential Foreign Investment Promotion Council (PFIPC). DSP Biodun Ojelabi said officers from the Force Intelligence Department–Intelligence Response Team in Abuja tracked Adeyemi to a hideout in Osun and arrested him early Tuesday. He confirmed the state command only verified the arrest but did not take part in the operation. A Federal High Court in Abuja issued the warrant after Adeyemi failed to appear for arraignment on charges of conspiracy, forgery and impersonation.
