Two Killed While Resisting Cutlass-Wielding Attacker at Filmhouse Lekki

Two people were killed after confronting a cutlass-wielding attacker at the car park of Filmhouse Cinemas IMAX in Lekki, Lagos, early Saturday. The victims, reportedly a security worker and another individual, resisted the attacker and prevented him from entering the facility. One was said to have been stabbed in the chest and the other wounded in the back. The motive for the attack has not been established. Filmhouse said the incident happened outside its premises and was unrelated to its regular operations. The company said security agencies are investigating and that additional security measures have been introduced across its locations.
