Lagos Vows Crackdown on Car Spotters Harassing Motorists on Lekki-Epe Expressway
The Lagos State Government says it will intensify enforcement against car spotters who allegedly harass motorists and stop luxury vehicles along the Lekki-Epe Expressway. Deputy Governor Obafemi Hamzat described the practice as criminal and said the government would remove those involved from the road. He said several suspects had already been arrested. According to Hamzat, surveillance cameras along the corridor have helped security agencies identify suspects, with some cases already before a Magistrate Court.
