I am concerned about Pastor W. F. Kumuyi’s appearances and engagement with Muslim leaders, including events linked to Global Crusade with Kumuyi and Change Makers International. In my view, presenting Christianity and Islam as serving the same God conflicts with core Christian teachings about Jesus Christ. I believe Christians should examine such interfaith engagements carefully rather than defend religious leaders without question. My concern is that the pursuit of social unity must not weaken the Christian claim that salvation is through Christ alone. I urge Deeper Life members and other Christians to study the Bible independently, assess these claims with evidence, and keep their faith centred on Christ rather than any individual leader.
