Ogun Security Guard Arrested for Threatening and Raping 16-Year-Old Girl

A 32-year-old security guard in Abule-Ijoko has been arrested for allegedly accosting a 16-year-old girl on her way home, threatening her with a locally made gun and taking her to his residence. Police from Agbado Division responded to a report on June 10. They tracked down the suspect, recovered the firearm, and visited the scene as part of their investigation. Preliminary findings confirm unlawful sexual activity without consent and an attempted robbery. The victim received medical care and a medical examination form. The case is now with the State Criminal Investigation Department in Abeokuta. The Command’s leadership reaffirms zero tolerance for offences against minors and urges the public to report violence or suspicious activity immediately.
