27-Year-Old Hunger Games Actor Charged with Attempted Murder After Firing at Vehicle

A 27-year-old actor, best known for his role in The Hunger Games, faces three felony counts of assault with a deadly weapon and intent to kill. He was arrested in Raleigh, North Carolina, after allegedly firing a shot at a moving car on the evening of March 22. Police say officers responding to reports of gunfire around 10pm found a victim who reported being shot at by an unknown suspect riding an e-bike. Detectives later identified the shooter as Ethan Jamieson, who allegedly used a 9mm semi-automatic handgun. Jamieson was denied bail on April 9 and is due back in court on April 30. Court records show he was previously arrested in March 2025 for resisting a public officer, marking his second arrest in the past year.
