Former AEW Wrestler Andy Williams Dies After Collapsing During Match
Former AEW and Ring of Honor wrestler Andy Williams, known in the ring as The Butcher, has died at the age of 48 after collapsing during the main event of a wrestling show in Pennsylvania. Williams reportedly became unsteady near the end of the match before losing consciousness. Medical personnel administered CPR and used a defibrillator before he was taken to hospital, where he later died from health complications. Outside wrestling, Williams was a co-founder and guitarist of the band Every Time I Die. The wrestling promotion said its medical team responded immediately and thanked those who assisted.
