Kogi Community Crowns Gas Cylinder Thief ‘King of Thieves’

Ojo Kayaman was arrested in Karaworo community in Adavi Local Government Area of Kogi State for allegedly stealing a gas cylinder. According to a resident, Gadafi Idreez, he turned to theft to support his marijuana and hard-drug habit. Upon capture, locals used the iron grill of the stolen cylinder to mockingly crown him ‘King of Thieves.’ Many community members warn that unchecked drug abuse among youth is fueling crime. They urge local leaders to act before the situation deteriorates further.
