CSO Praises Tinubu, Ribadu and Security Agencies After US Commendation
The Middle-Belt Pan Nigerian Forum, speaking for a coalition of civil society organisations, has praised President Bola Tinubu, National Security Adviser Nuhu Ribadu and security agencies over operations against terrorism. The group cited a recent statement by the United States Bureau of African Affairs, which commended Nigeria’s response to attacks in the Middle Belt and urged sustained protection for communities in Barkin Ladi, Plateau State. The coalition said the commendation should not be seen as proof that the security crisis has ended. It urged the Armed Forces, Police and other agencies to sustain operations against banditry, kidnapping and Boko Haram so that Nigerians can live safely regardless of religion or ethnicity.
