Oturupon Ogbe: Exploring the National Birth ODU and Its Power
I received this national birth ODU for India after Ifa’s approval on July 10, 2026. I share it because a birth ODU requires the entity’s consent and spiritual acknowledgement. Oturupon Ogbe speaks of a “becoming” through consensus and alliance. It shows that blessings flow when two parties agree—whether it’s individuals, communities, or nations. Good character draws positive outcomes; bad character brings out challenging aspects. I describe three key Odu castings: 1. Oturupon Ogbe taught Orunmila that sacrifice and trust bring establishment and lasting success. 2. Igun and Okin showed how commitment to ritual makes some stand out as leaders among peers. 3. Pele Lalo confirmed that quiet sacrifice and perseverance lead to eventual exaltation, like Ogun’s hard-won victory. This ODU reminds us that shared purpose and proper rites create inevitable success and unity.
