1XCup 2026: Akintunde Samuel Scores Twice as Newhope Naija Thrash Daja United 5-1
Newhope Naija FC delivered a dominant 5-1 win over Daja United in their 1XCup 2026 Epe Zone fixture at Inspire Sports Ground, Cappa, Oshodi, Lagos. Akpos Igoli opened the scoring in the fourth minute before Akintunde Samuel made it 2-0 in the 15th minute. Isaac Arabiadiama Ruben added a third in the 29th minute. John David Kelechi pulled one back for Daja United in the 34th minute, but Newhope Naija remained in control. Samuel completed his brace in the 36th minute, while Abdulleetef Bamidele sealed the victory with the fifth goal in the 42nd minute. The result strengthens Newhope Naija's 1XCup campaign after their earlier 1-0 win over Luther Inter FC.
