Today is International Left-Handers Day, a reminder that being left-handed is not something to correct. Children should be allowed to use the hand that feels natural to them. Many everyday items, including school desks, scissors and writing tools, are designed mainly for right-handed people. The problem is not left-handedness. It is refusing to accommodate differences.
