Delta Flight From New York Evacuated in Tel Aviv After False Bomb Threat

Passengers on a Delta flight from New York were evacuated after the aircraft landed at Ben Gurion Airport in Tel Aviv on Tuesday, October 13, following a reported bomb threat. Airport security officials searched the Airbus A330 after receiving information that an explosive device might be on board. The threat was later found to be false. The Israel Airports Authority said no unusual findings were made and normal airport operations resumed. Delta operates the New York–Tel Aviv route daily.
