NESG Urges FG to Turn Economic Reforms Into Jobs and Investment
The Nigerian Economic Summit Group has urged the Federal Government to sustain ongoing economic reforms and ensure their benefits reach businesses, workers and households. The group said measures including exchange-rate unification, fuel-subsidy removal and banking-sector recapitalisation have supported economic stabilisation. It added that the next phase must focus on productive investment, job creation, stronger human capital and a better business environment. The issues will be discussed at the 32nd Nigerian Economic Summit in Abuja on October 26 and 27, 2026. The gathering will examine job-rich growth, industrialisation, investment, social protection, security and how to spread growth across states and communities.
