Court Freezes KC Luxury’s Cybertruck, Hotel, Properties and Bank Funds in Cocaine Case
A Federal High Court in Lagos has ordered the interim preservation of properties, vehicles and bank funds linked to social media influencer and businessman Afolabi Kazeem, known as KC Luxury, following allegations of cocaine trafficking and money laundering. The order covers five properties, including a hotel in Egbeda, Lagos, as well as a Tesla Cybertruck, Toyota Hilux and Lexus RX 350. It also affects funds in several bank accounts, including more than ₦59 million in a Zenith Bank account. The NDLEA alleges that Kazeem and two co-defendants conspired to export 184.5kg of cocaine to the United Kingdom. They have pleaded not guilty, while the court has denied their bail applications and fixed November 2 to 5 for trial. The preservation order is temporary and is not a final forfeiture of the assets.
