Police, Military and DSS Conduct Joint Security Show of Force on Ogun–Ondo Border
Security agencies in Ogun State carried out a joint operational assessment and show of force along the Ogun–Ondo border corridor. The exercise covered communities in the Ogun Waterside axis, including Iwopin, Abigi and Ibiade. Participants included the Police Commissioner, the Commander of 35 Artillery Brigade, the DSS Director, NSCDC and Amotekun leaders, So-Safe Corps and local government chairmen. They inspected vulnerable points, reviewed operational needs and assessed terrain to improve deployment. The operation aims to reassure residents and commuters of the agencies’ readiness to tackle crime and respond to threats. Citizens are urged to stay vigilant and share credible information to bolster community-driven security efforts.
