Container Truck Rams into Broken-Down LAWMA Vehicle on Iyana-Isolo Road
A container truck collided with a broken-down Lagos Waste Management Authority vehicle at Apakun on the inward Iyana-Isolo axis of Lagos. The Lagos State Traffic Management Authority said its rescue team responded to the overnight crash. A crane and high-capacity tow truck were deployed to remove the vehicles and clear the obstruction. LASTMA said one casualty was taken to hospital, but did not disclose the person’s identity or the severity of the injuries. The incident caused traffic disruption along the busy corridor.
