When I Danced with a Market Madman for Cash and Ended Up in Yaba
I’ve watched videos of pranksters rewarding people for dancing with strangers. I always dreamt of being next. Last week, I went to the market for ponmo. A man with a speaker and konga appeared and danced. Hoping for cash or indomie, I joined him at once. Then he started stripping. I did too, only to realise I was dancing with a madman. A crowd cheered and recorded us. Suddenly a van arrived. They bundled us into Yaba asylum. I begged them to let me go until a friend bailed me out. Since then, my family treats me differently. Poverty na bastard.
