Arokodare Open to Permanent Ajax Move After Conference League Heroics
Super Eagles striker Tolu Arokodare says he would be open to joining Ajax permanently after a decisive UEFA Conference League display against Atalanta. The Wolverhampton Wanderers loanee came on in the 66th minute and scored in the 87th before assisting Abdellah Ouazane’s stoppage-time goal in Ajax’s win. The result gave Ajax their first points of the Conference League campaign after defeat to Hajduk Split in their opening match. Arokodare said he has felt welcomed in Amsterdam from his first day at the club. However, he said any permanent transfer will depend on Ajax and Wolves reaching an agreement.
