Four Checks I Use Before Placing Any Football Bet
I spent about seven years betting on gut feeling and losing more often than I won. I began recording every bet, including the date, match, market, odds, stake and result. This helped me identify the markets and odds ranges that were hurting my results. Before I place a bet, I check recent head-to-head goals, each team’s scoring record, recent form and whether the odds fall within a range I have tracked for that market. If a pick fails any one of these checks, I skip it. For a simple 30-day tracking exercise, record your date, market, odds, stake and result. Sort the results by market at the end of the month to spot weak areas. I also use a fixed percentage of my available capital rather than staking based on emotion. No system guarantees profit, so only stake money you can afford to lose. I have also written a more detailed guide and can answer questions, including critical ones. This is for adults only.
