Police Arrest Adamawa Man for Alleged Rape of 3-Year-Old Neighbour

A 31-year-old man from Tingno in Lamurde LGA, Adamawa State, has been arrested for allegedly defiling his neighbour’s three-year-old child. The case is part of a recent police operation that saw four suspects detained for sexual offences across the state. According to SP Suleiman Nguroje, the suspect took advantage of the parents’ absence to commit the act. Other suspects include a man accused of assaulting a five-year-old in Yolde Pate and two individuals charged with luring a 17-year-old girl to a hotel for unlawful sexual activity. Commissioner of Police Kabir Hassan has ordered the Family Unit of the CID to conduct a full investigation and prepare charges. Residents and guardians are urged to protect children vigilantly and report any abuse to the security agencies immediately.
