Finidi Accuses Rangers of Time-Wasting After Rivers United Draw

Rivers United technical adviser Finidi George has criticised Rangers International's tactics after both sides played out a 1-1 draw in their Nigeria Premier Football League clash at the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium. Chijioke Mbaoma gave Rivers United the lead in the 17th minute after the home side began strongly. Rangers responded after the break, with Godwin Obaje equalising in the 53rd minute. Finidi said Rangers were content with the point and accused their players of running down the clock in the closing stages. The result leaves Rivers United top of the NPFL table on goal difference, with Rangers in second place.
