Worship with Joy: Lavish Your Incense of Adoration

In this devotional, we reflect on Psalm 113:1-3 and the heavenly pattern of worship. We see angels and elders offering sweet incense of adoration to God, praising Him for who He is. Jesus’ birth in Luke 2 shows the joy that accompanies genuine praise. Our worship should mirror theirs—passionate, joyful, and focused on glorifying the Lord. As followers of Christ, we are invited to offer our gratitude with joy, making our adoration a pleasing sacrifice. May our hearts lift His name from dawn to dusk. Prayer: Father, I praise You for Your goodness and glory. Help me to worship with joy and to offer my adoration as a sweet-smelling sacrifice. Amen.
