ADC Urges Tinubu to Focus on Terrorism, Not Political Opposition
The African Democratic Congress has criticised President Bola Tinubu’s pledge to “fight to the finish” politically, urging him to focus that resolve on insecurity instead. The party said Nigerians expect decisive action against terrorists, bandits and kidnappers as killings and abductions continue across the country. It cited the reported killing of at least 30 people by gunmen in Naridon village, Kauru Local Government Area of Kaduna State. The ADC said the President was elected to lead the fight against violent crime, not to engage in political battles with opposition parties. It called for stronger Federal Government action to protect communities affected by attacks.
