Itele Moved to Tears by Wife and Children’s Father’s Day Tribute
Nollywood actor Ibrahim Yekini, known as Itele, was deeply touched by a surprise video his wife and children made for him on Father’s Day. In the clip, his wife, two daughters and protégés praised his commitment and love as a father. He said this year’s Father’s Day “hit differently,” reminding him that every sacrifice, sleepless night and tough decision has not gone unnoticed. He thanked his wife for being his strength, joy and greatest blessing. Earlier, Itele spoke about fatherhood, stressing that it involves more than just paying bills. He acknowledged men who support their children emotionally, mentally and physically. He also overcame past deadbeat father allegations after reconciling with his kids and has since given them a fresh start. His wife of almost ten years has stood by him through medical and financial challenges. When he missed out on an AMVCA award in 2024, she consoled him, saying every nomination and achievement is a shared victory.
