A middle-aged man identified as Emeka has died after being thrown from a four-storey building at Afubera Street, Odoakpu, Onitsha South. The incident occurred around 3am on Friday, March 27, 2026. Neighbours say Emeka, a site supervisor at a local boxer-shorts factory, was accused of stealing garments. He was reportedly beaten, tied up and locked in a room for three days before his body was found on the ground below.
