Daily Devotional April 18, 2026: Reversing Bondage

Theme: Reversing Bondage Memory Verse: “The Spirit of the Lord is upon me…to set at liberty them that are bruised.” (Luke 4:18) Reading: Luke 13:10–15. Jesus meets a woman bowed by infirmity for eighteen years and sets her free. Even the synagogue ruler objects, but the Lord shows His power in every season. Reflection: God often reverses bondage through divine appointments. Just as the woman stood upright again, He can shatter every chain. A man bound by fear for fifty years found deliverance, marriage and children after encountering Christ. Declaration: Isaiah 10:27 promises the yoke will be destroyed by the anointing. I decree that every limitation holding you down is broken today. Expect a divine encounter that brings total freedom. Prayer Points: 1. Thank God for the anointing that breaks every yoke. 2. Ask for mercy where you’ve accepted your limitations. 3. Pray for a divine appointment that leads to total deliverance.
