NDLEA Busts Businesswoman at Lagos Airport with 7.5kg Cocaine Hidden in Luggage
Operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) arrested a 38-year-old trader at Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos, on credible intelligence. She was preparing to board a flight to Beijing when officers discovered four professionally concealed parcels of cocaine in the false bottom of her suitcase. The class A drug weighed a total of 7.5 kilograms. The suspect, who claimed to travel regularly to China to buy goods for sale in Nigeria, was detained at the departure hall of Terminal 2 on 21 June 2026.
