Jesus’ Teaching at the Festival: Truth Over Appearances

Midway through the festival, Jesus went to the temple courts and began to teach. The crowd was amazed and asked how he could speak with such authority without formal training. Jesus replied that his teaching came from God and invited anyone who loved God’s will to test its divine origin. He pointed out that although Moses gave the law, no one fully kept it and yet they would circumcise a boy on the Sabbath while condemning him for healing on that same day. He challenged them to stop judging by outward signs and instead judge rightly, revealing that true authority belongs to the one sent by God.
