US Raises EB-5 Investor Visa Filing Fees to Up to $7,850 From November 30
The United States Citizenship and Immigration Services has approved higher filing fees for the EB-5 Immigrant Investor Programme, effective November 30, 2026. The fee for Form I-526 will rise from $3,675 to $7,615, while the regional-centre Form I-526E will cost $7,850. Applicants will also pay a $75 technology fee and required EB-5 Integrity Fund charges. The fee for Form I-829, used to remove conditions on permanent residency, will increase from $3,750 to $5,000. The EB-5 route offers investors and their immediate families a path to US permanent residency through qualifying investments that create at least 10 full-time jobs. Investment thresholds remain $800,000 for targeted employment areas and infrastructure projects, and $1.05 million for other projects. Applications postmarked before November 30 will be assessed under the current fee schedule.
