British-Nigerian Singer Talay Riley, 35, Stabbed to Death in East London
British-Nigerian singer-songwriter Talay Riley (real name Yinka Mark Orabiyi) died on June 5, 2026, after being stabbed in East London. Police were called to Pankhurst Avenue and found him with multiple stab wounds in a garden on Rayleigh Road. Paramedics tried to save him but he was pronounced dead at the scene. Another man in his 20s was injured in the same incident and remains in stable condition in hospital. Two men, aged 27 and 24, and a 25-year-old woman were arrested on suspicion of murder. The 24-year-old man and the woman have been released with no further action, while the 27-year-old has been granted bail pending further enquiries.
