APC Disqualifies 105 Kwara Assembly Aspirants in Primary Shake-up
The Kwara State chapter of the All Progressives Congress has just completed its screening for the 2027 House of Assembly primaries. Over 100 aspirants failed to meet the party’s eligibility and compliance criteria. Sources say the screening committee reviewed applications from more than one hundred hopefuls across all 24 state constituencies. After strict vetting, about 105 candidates were barred from the next stage. The party has yet to disclose the full details of the disqualification criteria. Reports indicate both incumbents and first-time contenders are among those affected. This decision is already fuelling heated discussions within APC’s ranks in Kwara State.
