Bob Marley: One Love Actor Ras Ajai Reportedly Killed in Jamaica Shooting
Jamaican actor and reggae musician Ras Ajai, born Brian Todd Boucher, has reportedly been killed in a shooting in Waterford, St Catherine, Jamaica. He was 47. Reports say Ras Ajai and a companion were walking on Saturday, August 1, when gunmen in a vehicle attacked them. He was reportedly shot several times and later pronounced dead at Spanish Town General Hospital. The second victim is receiving treatment, while police investigate the incident. Ras Ajai played Claudie Massop in the 2024 film Bob Marley: One Love. He was also known for his “ghetto gospel” sound and songs including “Pack Up Yuh Tings” and “Smoking Loud.”
