Open Heavens Daily Devotional for October 27, 2026: Help From Heaven

Today’s devotional teaches that those who fear God and delight in His commandments can rely on help from heaven. Psalm 34:7 reminds believers that the angel of the Lord surrounds and delivers those who fear Him. The message reflects on biblical examples of divine intervention. Angels strengthened Elijah, protected Daniel in the lions’ den, defended Hezekiah’s people and helped Peter escape from prison. Believers are encouraged to trust God during seasons of fear, discouragement and difficulty. The key point is that reverence for God and obedience to His word bring assurance of His help, protection and guidance. Bible reading: Psalm 112:1–10. Bible-in-one-year reading: Luke 13–15.
