Adeboye Challenges Service Chiefs: Defeat Terrorists in 90 Days or Resign

Pastor Enoch Adeboye has called on Nigeria’s security chiefs to eliminate all terrorists within 90 days or tender their resignations. He made the plea in a recent video published on the church’s official social media account. The RCCG leader recalled advising former President Buhari to issue the same deadline to tackle Boko Haram and other armed groups, but noted that the directive was not fully enforced after the deadline elapsed. He urged the current administration to ensure that security chiefs also pursue those who finance and support terrorism, no matter how influential. Adeboye’s appeal comes amid a surge in kidnappings and violent attacks on schools and communities, including the recent incident in Oyo State. The president has since deployed a specialised rescue unit to recover abducted victims and strengthen national security efforts.
