Egypt Sends 280 Aid Trucks to Gaza as Bread Shortage Deepens
The Egyptian Red Crescent says it has sent more than 280 trucks carrying flour and food supplies to Gaza to help tackle a worsening bread shortage. More than 190 trucks were dispatched during the previous week, while over 90 left on Sunday. The supplies are expected to reach bakeries whose operations have been disrupted, alongside hospitals and other essential facilities. The latest convoy carried over 3,676 tonnes of aid, including food baskets, medicines, relief materials and fuel. Gaza health authorities also reported four deaths and 14 injuries in the latest 24-hour update.
