Two Arrested Over Armed Robbery of Wigs Worth Millions in Benin City
The Edo State Security Corps has arrested two suspects linked to the armed robbery of a hair store in the GRA area of Benin City. CCTV footage reportedly showed a male suspect threatening sales staff with a gun before they were locked in an inner room. A female suspect was seen taking about 90 wigs from display mannequins and packing them into a bag. Security operatives recovered 35 bundles of human hair after the arrest. The suspects and recovered items have been handed over to the police intelligence unit, while another suspect remains at large.
