Ogun West Youth Awards to Honour Yayi, Salako-Oyedele, Dende and Others
The National Youth Council of Nigeria, Ogun West Senatorial District, will hold the second Ogun West Youth Awards on Thursday, September 17, 2026, at the ASUP Hall of the Federal Polytechnic, Ilaro. The event is scheduled to begin at 11:00 a.m. The ceremony will recognise individuals said to have contributed to youth empowerment, leadership, entrepreneurship, innovation, community development and public service across Ogun West. Expected honourees include Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola, known as Yayi; Deputy Governor Noimot Salako-Oyedele; Oba Kehinde Olugbenle; Ibrahim Dende; Jamiu Ogundele; Olumide Tijani; and Abduljabar Ayelaagbe. Youth leaders, traditional rulers, community stakeholders and other guests are expected to attend.
