Peter Okoye Says Jude Filed Lawsuit to Stop Him Performing P-Square Songs

Peter Okoye, known as Mr P, says his elder brother and former manager, Jude Okoye, has filed a fresh lawsuit seeking to stop him from performing songs released under the P-Square brand. Peter said the issue came up during a recent court hearing in their dispute over ownership of the group’s music and identity. He challenged Jude’s alleged claim that bringing P-Square to Lagos in 2005 made him the owner of the brand. According to Peter, P-Square had been performing and had released its first album before then. He also claimed he paid for their first home in Lagos and has receipts to support his account.
