But culture—through music, film, literature, and art—can cross borders faster than any official campaign. Right now, Afrobeats is filling arenas worldwide and Nollywood is reaching viewers across continents. During President Tinubu’s recent state visit to the UK, King Charles III said Britain had been “profoundly enriched” by Nigeria’s cultural exports. This raises a key question.
