Barcelona Fans Question Club’s Delayed Tribute to Messi After Argentina Farewell

Barcelona faced criticism from supporters after the club did not immediately acknowledge Lionel Messi’s reported final appearance for Argentina. Fans compared the silence with tributes posted by former teammates, current players and other clubs. Messi reportedly inspired Argentina’s 3-0 win over Benin, setting up two goals before scoring from the penalty spot. The match was described as an emotional conclusion to his international career.
