Sokoto Cleric Slams Tinubu for Abandoning Muslims After Muslim-Muslim Ticket

During his Eid sermon in Sokoto, Professor Mansur Ibrahim Sokoto accused President Bola Tinubu of using a Muslim-Muslim ticket as a mere political ploy. He argued that Muslims and northern Nigerians have seen no tangible benefits under the current administration. The scholar warned fellow clerics against campaigning on religious lines and urged them to demand concrete achievements in education, healthcare, agriculture, the economy, and power supply. He stressed that support for any candidate should be based on performance, not faith. Efforts to reach the Presidency for comment were unsuccessful as of press time.
