Vehicles Damaged as Suspected Thugs Disrupt APC Rally in Katsina
Suspected thugs disrupted an APC campaign rally in Malumfashi Local Government Area of Katsina State on Wednesday, October 28. Witnesses said the attackers, who chanted “Ba mu yi” (“We do not agree”), threw stones and other objects at party members and vehicles at the venue. Several cars had their windscreens and windows damaged, while some people reportedly sustained minor injuries. The rally was held in support of APC candidates ahead of the 2027 general elections. The number of injured persons has not been confirmed, and the Katsina State Police Command had not commented on the incident at the time of reporting.
