Antonio Conte Reportedly Sets Conditions for Manchester United Job

Antonio Conte has reportedly held talks with Manchester United about replacing Michael Carrick as manager. Carrick is under pressure after United’s 4-1 Champions League defeat to Como, their ninth match without a win in 11 games across all competitions. He is expected to take charge against Bournemouth on Sunday, but another poor result could put his position at risk. Italian reports say Conte is willing to return to the Premier League. However, he wants control over player recruitment and the freedom to appoint his own backroom staff ahead of the January and summer transfer windows.
