A Crown of Righteousness Awaits the Faithful

Scripture reminds us that those who remain faithful to God will receive a crown of righteousness when Christ returns. The call is to fight the good fight, finish the race and keep the faith. True honour is not found in worldly praise or possessions. God values honesty, faithfulness and a heart prepared to meet Him in peace. The rewards of this world will fade, but the crown God gives will never perish. Let us look forward to the day when the redeemed will rejoice with Christ in God’s kingdom. May we live faithfully, overcome sin through God’s grace and remain ready for His appearing. Prayer: Father, help us to remain faithful and become part of Christ’s victory. Forgive our sins, meet our needs and give us strength and good health to testify of Your goodness. In Jesus’ name, Amen. Adapted from a Christian devotional reading.
